Vivre le conflit
Le conflit est-il mauvais en soi et appelé le plus souvent à dégénérer en violence ? Ce n’est pas la vision de ce numéro de la Lettre aux communautés. S’il y a conflits, c’est parce nous sommes différents et il nous faut apprendre à vivre avec ces différences sans les nier. Le conflit fait partie de la vie mais Il y a une façon de l’aborder qui respecte les personnes et leurs différences. C’est ce dont témoignent les articles de ce numéro. Ils évoquent les conflits de la vie courante, de la vie professionnelle mais aussi les conflits à l’intérieur de l’église.
Le syndicalisme entre dialogue et opposition
Comment exercer une fonction de permanent syndical à plein temps dans une collectivité territoriale ? C’est une responsabilité qui situe au cœur de la conflictualité du monde et du travail. C’est tout à la fois l’écoute et la défense des collègues mais aussi la négociation avec le risque de se situer dans des rapports de force. Avec toues ses fragilités, le syndicalisme est nécessaire au fonctionnement de la démocratie.
Que ton règne vienne
L’Ancien testament nous présente la figure d’un peuple travaillé par l’idée d’un monde réconcilié et libéré. Avec Jean Baptiste d’abord puis avec Jésus de Nazareth une nouvelle perspective s’ouvre : l’annonce du règne de Dieu s’articule au changement de comportement et Jésus nous invite à discerner les signes d’un Royaume déjà à l’œuvre. Ainsi sommes-nous ouverts à un règne de la grâce ou du don qui travaille le monde en profondeur.
