Ce réseau s’adresse aux professionnels, magistrats, éducateurs, avocats…, ou bénévoles, aumôniers, visiteurs de prison, qui sont confrontés à la question de la justice et qu’ils soient ou non membres de la Mission de France.
Engagés dans le monde de la justice, par profession ou comme bénévoles, en tant que visiteurs et aumôniers de prison, conseiller prud’hommes, soignants, intervenants ou enseignant en prison, magistrats, directrice des services de la PJJ, éducateurs, avocat…, nous souhaitons lire et relire nos engagements, partager nos expériences, nos interrogations, nos doutes, au regard de la foi en l’Homme et dans le Christ qui nous anime et nous pousse.
Les réformes judiciaires se multiplient. Le sens du procès se déplace dangereusement des auteurs vers les victimes. Il s’inscrit alors dans « un droit de la peur » qui joue sur l’angoisse pour faire adopter des mesures pénales de plus en plus répressives.
Membres du réseau Justice de la Mission de France, nous voulons rester vigilants et attentifs à ceux que nous côtoyons dans « ces différents lieux de La Justice ».
Plusieurs questions sont nées de nos rencontres :
1. Comment vivre la fraternité dans le milieu de la justice, fraternité qui demande de ne lâcher ni l’exigence du rappel à la Loi ni l’être avec ?
2. Quelle anthropologie sous-tend les nouvelles réformes judiciaires? Comment appréhender une personne au-delà des apparences, réinvestir/relever ceux qui ont trébuché?
3. Quelle éthique est-il encore possible de mettre en œuvre ? Est-il possible de « Sanctionner sans punir » comme l’évoque le réseau éducation ?
4. La place des victimes, la prise en compte de leur souffrance, de leurs interrogations, de leurs doutes ?
